As well as encouraging more young people to be Trustees, YCT wants to support those who already are. They are our best ‘weapon’ in getting more young people interested.
They can also give us insights into what works and what doesn’t, both in how they were recruited to their roles and what their experience was like once they took them.
Support for young trustees includes helping with networking, passing on useful information on how to be a ‘success’ as a Trustee and sharing solutions to common problems. Our LinkedIn group is one way to achieve this and others will follow.
